"The Robert Klein Gallery is thrilled to announce a solo exhibition of photography byGregory Vershbow, a 2010 MFA graduate from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. The exhibition, Art in a Liminal Space, will begin Saturday, October 29, with an opening reception from 2 to 4 PM.
Art in a Liminal Space stems from Vershbow's curiosity about artwork in the absence of an audience. In this ongoing series, he visits the basements and back rooms of fine art museums, finding unobserved objects somewhere between exhibition and storage. Vershbow deftly calls attention to the dramatic interactions between these objects and their surroundings, his large prints fostering a wholly immersive viewing experience."
